Greetings,
So we took the plunge (whew). The house is an older house that appears to have perhaps some issues and we were interested if anyone has had a good experience with any inspectors - particularly those that know the ins and outs of the older homes (built in the 20's).
Our agent's recommended a couple, but we also like to perhaps have some people that are completely "independent" |

| I can recommend a guy named Tim Kasten. He's fantastic! He's inspected a couple of older homes for us, and we've been very happy with him. He's very thorough, honest, nice guy, takes pictures of everything and prioritizes the work that's needed (color coded). His company (it's just him, I'm pretty sure) is called KPI Property Inspections and he's based out in Carlsbad, but he came to SD for our inspections. He's a pretty busy guy, but if you can get him to come out to do an inspection for you, I doubt you'll be disappointed. |

| We were really happy with Davidson Inspection from Coronado (858)435-0845, they also do an energy audit included. |
