41% off 2005 prices in PB, west of the I-5. Yep, it's the Plaza again, leading the charge down with foreclosures.

Sorry no clicky link.

>>> starts at $700K. That's about $4200 a month. Unaffordable to most. And about 2x the rent. Hello?

So you can rent a $700K market-priced SFH in PB for $2100 a month? Got any examples?

Maybe not for 2100. Here's one for 2400:

Thanks Eugene. Those are very clear examples of 1/2 price renting compared to owning. I know where both those properties are located. Looks like renting in PB is certainly the way to go.

I have never had any desire to live in PB, even in collage. My husband was renting in PB when we first met. I had just moved back to SD from CT...I was a little shocked that PB was still so party central...husband called them "PB vermin". Also getting in and out of PB is a PIA. La Jolla shores is nice, if you have to deal with the pain of getting in and out of somewhere. Find a "monster price drop" on Paseo Grande ya'll.

If any of you want to make your links clickable, try typing

then type what you want folks to click on like this:
8110 EPG

After you type 8110 EPG, what makes it clickable is closing the whole thing with the following< and then a forward slash a and closing bracket like so:

Not sure if it will display.

I was afraid of that. Open with this bracket < and then type a href followed by an equal sign and " then the http address and close with " and a closing bracket >

It does, Brian! That is why MAC user (moi) are illiterate when it comes to html features.
If it's not built in and easy to use, I am lost. Same goes for kitchen appliances ;-)

Here's one % wise not great (only about 21%) but $ wise ($250,000 drop for brand new construction) is pretty hefty:

It's sister is also down $250k in only 90 days..

Clicky Link

This is in Imperial Beach, 5 blocks to the ocean. It is back to 2001 prices. Where else can you get a SFR for less than $250K?

For those of you who don't get down that way very often, IB has a mellow small beach town feel to it that is nearly extinct in So Cal.
