I've noticed this complex has some NODs and foreclosures and some drops from peak, so I thought I'd post information here.

3927 Nobel 63 has a NOD listed @ 175k at peak 09/07/2005 sold $285

3929 Nobel 82 has a NOD listed @ 350k sold at peak 6-20-05 for 455k.

3925 Nobel 32 has a NOD. Last sold 1-10-06 for 485k.

3929 Nobel 87 had a NOD and foreclosure was scheduled 9-29. Last sold 5-17-08 for 302k.

If anyone does think of buying this, get one of the units not facing the street if noise is an issue. Not a bad place, but like most conversions way overpriced during original offering. Prime college area with easy access to UCSD shuttle. Central location, but a bit of a walk from groceries at Ralphs/TJ/Whole Foods unless you plan go the other way to Bristol Farms.

Thanks jpinpb for all the data! I've been keeping track of what I see on paper, but not as methodically as this. I'd love to see those records for some Carmel Valley condos/townhouses for comparison. =)

I covered Verano, too. There are a lot of condos up in Carmel Valley. Pell would be a good pet project. I still am not done w/UTC, Lucera, Villa Vicenza and even the Plaza in PB. Only so much time to devote to this. I even took on a few streets that were suffering, Gila and Deerpark.

sdbri - glad you're keeping track. Watch the area you want to buy in. Makes offers when something makes sense. Be aware that there will be multiple offers on deals and try to set a limit so you don't get caught in any emotional bidding frenzy.
