The custom stainless steel entry gate leads you into the first of two courtyards. This first courtyard has a water feature and the large stepped back floor to ceiling window system by fleetwood with the integrated front door. Once inside you will notice a feeling of spaciousness due to the generous ceiling heights in the living, dining, kitchen (11feet) and gallery (26feet). Your eyes are immediately drawn to the lush landscaped second courtyard that can be entered through 2 "fleetwood" sliding doors (on sprinkler and gas stub for bbq) and the jatoba (brazilian cherry) wood staircase with a custom powdercoated metal and stainless steel railing. The kitchen is equipped with the following counters and appliances: sub zero refrigerator, 2 dacor ovens, one dacor 5 burner stove, jenn-air microwave and dishwasher, the main counter is slate and the kitchen island is covered in stainless steel. There is one sink in the main counter and a bar sink in the island. Most of the flooring throughout the home is eco-friendly bamboo, the bathrooms are tiled with ceramic tile on most floor surfaces accented by glass tile on the tub enclosure and backsplash. Most bathrooms have limestone countertops, the powder-room has slate with a sit on top glass sink and glass tile backsplash. The entire structure is built using 2x6 construction which makes this a more energy efficient home. The insulation used throughout the home is formyldehyde free (also an eco friendly product). All windows and slider doors are by fleetwood window systems, the warm water supply is delivered by a 75 gallon water heater with a timed circulation pump. There are two heater zones in the home powered by 2 rheem high efficiency heaters. The home also has 4 skylights, one in the kitchen/dining room and 3 in the main gallery.
