I think we are now seeing new lows for Clairemont. Below 300k!!!

Photos up. What a dump.

Pending. That was priced to blow out the door. We need more of those. Thanks to the lucky knife-catcher doing your part to bring the comps down one listing at a time.

I called the agent and he said they received 3 all cash offers over asking price. Shows you that the market has bottomed in decent neighborhoods to $300k when a dump like this sells.

That is the latest gimmick. Price super low and people will outbid each other. When this becomes a normal thing, they'll have to price lower.

To MillerTime, nah, this does not mean the bottom. This just means that the market works when a house is the lowest thing on the market. There is still downward pressure on the market due to inventories, foreclosures and listings like this that get offered out below the last low.

We are still going down, the down has just slowed a bit for the seasonal housing push but come the end of the summer prices will start falling hard again as june-july has a bunch more arm resets in the books.

Also, you asked the agent... agents will say just about anything to get an offer.
