$100K drop in 3 months. We're on the rollercoaster now.` | | | | Jimbo 11/4/2007 8:47:37 AM | Reply |
Some sucker will come along and give them $500K for this crappy apartment. | | | | Smith 11/4/2007 9:20:44 AM | Reply |
I've been in those top floor units in the La Vita midrise. They are pretty nice, that deck is huge. The new building Current knocked that view down a lot.
It's also getting close to the original developer price.
I feel richer everyday watching prices go down. This is a lot better feeling than 2005 when it felt like you'd never be able to buy a decent place. I consider this unit a nice home as opposed to some of the smaller two beds which are more of a rental condo situation in my view. | | | | Brian 11/4/2007 9:54:24 AM | Reply |
List Price: $589,900
MLS#: 071053258
I agree with you Smith, I feel richer everyday. One thing that's great about buying at the bottom is you get the pick of the litter. The best of the best will be going at a great discount. I love watching the prices come down, and it's the best form of entertainment for me. When the time comes, I'll pay cash for a condo so I can low-ball and close on the deal almost immediately. Take it or leave it.
Even people who got "killer pre-construction deals" from the developer will regret their purchases. There were on a real-estate high and the withdrawal symtoms will be very painful (especially if they spent their equity).

Nice terrace but how restrictive is the HOA? Can you put trees, tiling, furniture, etc. out there? | | | | surferX 5/12/2008 6:23:17 PM | Reply |
Sold below developers original price.
1246 Sqft -> $402 ppsf
And this was a top floor unit in the midrise that could be viewed as 3br...top loft is very large with the large balcony deck. Pretty nice place but the kitchen was too small!

Saw this on Craiglist as a rental this weekend for just under $3K. | | | | Brian 5/13/2008 7:46:04 AM | Reply |
Stella, looks like they bought 05/09/2008 $502,000. If they are renting it out, I wonder what kind of return on investment they are expecting (and will actually get).
Time will tell. | |
